Privacy Policy

This policy explains what ReputeFix collects, what it deliberately does not store, and who it shares data with. It applies to www.reputefix.com and the ReputeFix app.

What we store

  • Your account: email address, name, plan, and usage counters.
  • For each business you scan: the Google place_id only, plus our own derived values — a reputation score, a three-way sentiment label per review, and timestamps.
  • The name you give a listing, if you type one (or choose Google's name for it yourself). It is yours, not Google's, and we keep it until you change it or delete the listing.
  • The text of the alerts we raise for you, which includes that listing name — for example, “1 new negative review on Greater Kailash clinic”. Alerts never contain review text or reviewer names.
  • Payment records: Razorpay order and payment identifiers, amount and status; and for a plan we grant ourselves — a trial, or an invoiced plan paid by bank transfer — the plan, its dates and our invoice or transfer reference.
  • A record of each email we send you — which kind it was and when — but never its address or its content. We keep it for 90 days.

Emails we send

Besides sign-up and password emails, we email you when a paid plan is about to end and after it ends, and every Monday while you are on a paid plan, with what happened on your monitored listings that week. You can stop the Monday email from the email itself or in Settings. We send no marketing email.

What we do not store

We do not store Google review text, reviewer names, reviewer photos, business names, addresses, star ratings or review counts. That content is fetched live from Google Maps for the duration of a single request, shown to you, and then discarded. This is required by the Google Maps Platform terms and is enforced in our database design.

Google Maps Platform

ReputeFix uses Google Maps Platform. By using ReputeFix you also agree to be bound by Google Maps Platform Terms of Service (including the Google Terms of Service), and you acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated into this document by reference.

When you view a business's reviews, your browser loads each reviewer's photo from Google's servers, as Google's attribution rules require, so Google receives your IP address and browser details for those images. “Open in Google Maps” opens Google Maps with the business and the name you gave it.

AI-generated replies

When you ask for a reply suggestion, the review text, the business name and the star rating are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate that reply. When you ask for replies in Hindi, the same request also returns a one-line Hindi summary of what the review says. The replies and the summary are returned to you and are not retained by us.

Signup protection

The sign-up, sign-in and password-reset forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from scripts. It runs in your browser and Cloudflare processes the signals it collects under its own privacy policy. When you sign up with a Gmail address, we compare it — ignoring dots and anything after a “+”, which Gmail ignores too — with existing free accounts, so that one inbox cannot open many free accounts.

WhatsApp

When you choose to message us on WhatsApp — for a free trial, an invoice or a renewal — the message we fill in for you names your account's email address. Opening the link passes that message to WhatsApp, which Meta runs, and the conversation is under WhatsApp's own terms.

Processors we use

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Railway — application hosting
  • Google Maps Platform — review and place data, and the reviewer photos your browser loads
  • Anthropic — AI reply generation, and the Hindi review summary
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — sign-up, sign-in and password-reset protection
  • Razorpay — payment processing: when you pay, your name and email go to its checkout with the payment details you enter there
  • Resend — email delivery: sign-up and password emails, plan reminders and the Monday email

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is open. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your profile, your saved place_id records, scores and scan history. Payment records are kept where tax law requires it.
